Esdras has been part of the Peru Mission team since 2013. In 2020, in the midst of COVID lockdown, he was married to Megan Blanchard, from Worthington, Minnesota.

Esdras studied Biology at the National University of Trujillo and theological studies at the Areópago Cristiano. He was a deacon for several years at the Cristo Rey Church in Trujillo before being ordained as a pastor in 2015 and installed as director of SUSA university ministry. In 2021 Esdras was called to be Senior Pastor at Cristo Rey. He also teaches Biblical Theology and Ethics at the Areopago and leads the Peru Mission Church Planting Center.
